The most profound relationship that we will ever have is the one with ourselves. This relationship impacts all our other ones. So many times the relationship with ourselves is the one that we tend to last, if at all! It really does take a perspective shift to begin to reframe how we think, feel, and act upon creating a deep connection within. This can be challenging.
It is easier to look outside of ourselves to figure out why things are going the way that they are, but the truth is the answer lies within us not outside of us. How can we begin to take more responsibility for our actions, while simultaneously practicing self-compassion and self-care?
Focusing on creating and nurturing our relationship with ourselves takes time, courage, commitment, and consistency. When we feel complete, confident, worthy, inwardly it radiates outwardly. This impacts every aspect of our lives and all our relationships.
Your relationship with yourself is the longest and most life-altering one that you will have. It is time to get reacquainted with all aspects of yourself, and begin to tend to your needs, wants, and desires.
How can you begin to create and/or deepen your relationship with yourself?
