The circle of life, birth and death, and all the in-betweens. Through it all we will fall, it will get bumpy, we will get bumped and bruised and this has meaning too. The firsts, the lasts, the learning, and growing that we will do in between- is there any other more beautifully challenging school, than the school of life?!

Through all this our bumps, bruises and scars are ours and ours alone. While support abounds and without it we could not rebound in the same way. Ultimately, we need to choose our relationships, our thoughts, our actions, our reactions. What and how we choose greatly impacts our path!

What I know for sure in this circle of life is we all have our own path, perspective, and journey. One of the best choices we can ever make that will be a game changer and possibly a life-saver is to become your own advocate! Choosing to advocate for myself changed the trajectory of my life and is one of the many reasons that I am still alive and thriving today- after two open heart surgeries, a heart transplant, and six different occurrences of a transplant related cancer. Now I want to share what I have learned with you!
